Run For The Roses

Last weekend, Erin and her mom, Meredith watched the movie about the award winning horse "Secretariat". After the movie, while Erin Skyped with me, she played "Secretariat" with baby brother Everett. Here is Erin in the role of the trainer and Everett in the role of the horse.

The trainer places the horse in position and yells "Go!"

And he's off!

The "horse" appears to have stumbled but quickly gets back into the race!

Chicken Pot Pie

My super sister Janice is constantly providing delicious food for Rob and me to have in the evenings after long days of work. It's really a blessing to know something great is waiting for us in the refrigerator. So today Rob and I have baked two Low fat Chicken Pot Pie Casseroles. Yes, Rob assists me (or rather I assist the Engineer) in the kitchen. I'd be a total disaster without him! What a great hubby!

Another Snowy Day

We had snow again today....this time 6 inches. Beautiful!!!

I love how the snow "sprinkles" the tree tops.
